Back pain making it hard to run - week 15 IM plan
Dear Coaches,
I tweaked my lower back last week, been stretching and icing it like a job. I am able to comfortably swim and cycle with no problems but running is quite painful. It is quickly improving, but frankly I would rather bungle my IM run rather than push it now and not be able to go at all. Should I add extra bikes to cover the missing runs? Any other suggestions? I have been pretty good up until now with my runs, and I ran a solid half IM about a week ago well within expected pace.
