***EDIT***  Here's the plan.  Please respond if you are going to come so we know to expect you.

There appears to be interest and Sundays seem to be the most acceptable to all, so here's the plan: 



Sunday, 9 June, at 0800 (8 o'clock AM) wheels rolling No Later Than 0815 at the intersection of Maple Avenue and the W&OD trail in Vienna, Virginia. I'm going to look for parking at Whole Foods Market at 143 Maple Avenue East, Vienna, VA, 22180. This is right next to the trail. Based on Google Maps, there are literally 8 different coffee shops within three blocks of the trail so the plan is to ride west on the W&OD trail for about a half hour, ride back to Maple, and then hit a cup of coffee. 



I'll be in an EN jersey, will be riding my road bike, and plan to ride the entire ride in my small chain ring (i.e.slow, social pace not fitness, ego pace). I directly emailed those that I know that are in the area, but please send this out to other local EN folks that you may know.

    I'm interested and I will convince Josie to join. Sundays work best for us because those are my ABP rides (we have Lake Placid in a few months).

    I am doing a lonv ride on Sunday. Since my pool is closed on Monday, i was fhinking of doing a light ride Monday morninv.

    Roy - thanks for organizing. I'm transitioning into IM training this week (test week) and then I'll be in week 9 of the IM plan which will have me do a longer ABP ride that day, so I won't be able to join you. Took some time off after Kinetic and now really want to nail IM training... happy riding! I did W&OD this AM and can confirm that it's still flat image

    Hey Roy!

    Thanks for the invite.  For the time being all of my long Sunday rides are in the dirt as I get ready for my Xterra.

    Sounds like a great time, though!

    You betcha, John. We have three definites: You, me, and Nate P. It will be good to get you two linked up since you are now doing the same race this year. I have one maybe who shall remain nameless til he/she rogers up. There is always room for more if ANY OF YOU OTHER FOLKS can break away!
