IM Plan Wk 12: Can't do Sat/Sun Bikes due to travel

Coach P-I need to travel this weekend for a wedding and then two days visiting the monuments in DC with the wife and kids.  I'll be able to get all my workouts in this week through Friday (test week), but won't be able to bike till I get back on Wednesday next week.  Should I plan to do some long run work this weekend?  Also likely won't be able to swim unless I can find a nearby pool to drop into.

  • Joe, I would do Wed as scheduled, Thursday swim, Friday = repeat of Wed or ABP ride. Sat = Long run. Sunday = recover. Monday is Threshold run for the week, Tuesday is strides. Wednesday is bike intervals only, then back at the regular plan as of Thursday. No swimming so some core work / swim cords would be good!
