Reading all the comments on FB and ST about the bears on the IMC course.  I'm accustomed to zinging past dogs out on the road so I'm up for the bear challenge.

    Good point. 

    It's like swimming with sharks... you don't want to be in front and you don't want to be in the back.

    Do they have bear whistles like the deer whistles people put on cars?

    Great. This may be the one time i won't care about getting the penalty for riding too close to someone else. Unless I get ripped to shreds IN the box...

    Got some practice riding around my vacation home a couple yrs ago. Was preparing to make a pee stop and a woman in a car pulled alongside and said she just scared off a bear for me. Picked it up like I never thought possible at end of 80 ride till home in sight!image
