HELP...Big Day Nutrition

So I switched into my IM plan, and now have my first ever "Big Day" this weekend. This has caught me somewhat unprepared from a nutrition plan perspective.  I had planned on trying Infinite...but obviously don't have the time to order and get it for Saturday. 

One of my LBS has Perpetuem (actually all the Hammer stuff) and EFS. Would the Perpetuem be a good substitute?

I just watched the podcast on fueling and am on info overload at the moment.

  • Perpetuem has a bit of protein in it. That sours some stomachs. Worst case just try some Gatorade. They hand it out on a ton of non-WTC courses. Think about total calories per hour, 500-1000mgs of sodium and enough fluid to keep you topped up.
