Beginning 20 week IM plan

So today my plan has changed to 20 wk IM, you have me starting in at week 9, I just came off the Gf plan.  When I watch the wk 9 video, you talk about maybe a race that we have just completed, I am confusedI also notice the options for the Move/Change doesn't give you a choice of telling you that you are changing plans.  so, none of the options pertain to me, I haven't finished an A race, i am not injured, ETC. I just want to change from one plan to the next, can you tell me which option i should choose when changing plans.  thanks

  • @Sheri, no worries! The Week 9 is when most folks "start" the IM plan. Most folks are coming over from a half IM, hence the "race note" -- that video isn't customized to you, it's generic to the Team. The drop down menu is just for Rich and I to track where folks are at (good data); you can choose ANY reason to change a plan and then get to training. That said, you might need to go a bit lighter in your first week so you don't accumulate too much fatigue. We do this by telling you to do the workouts on the days planned for the times/distances planned but dial the intensity back in your first week....then you can slowly build up!
