Sad news for the McKinneys

Wanted to share some sad news with the team...we are a team after all! Anyway, we found out this morning that my wife, Amy's mother passed away sometime over the weekend. Apparently a neighbor noticed the newspapaers piling up and called the police. They think she probably died sometime this weekend. Some of you may remember that her father passed away right before Thanksgiving, so double loss for us. She had not been sick or anything, so no idea what might have happened. These were the grandparents we spent almost every weekend with at the cabin in the summer, so the kids are pretty much heartbroken. Say a prayer for us if that's your thing.

I'm so sorry, Bill. The loss is tough enough in and of itself, but the sudden and somewhat mysterious way that it happened has to make it that much harder. All my best to you, Amy, and your kids as you mourn. Give thanks for having had her in your lives and cherish her memory. Hugs and prayers to you.

I do remember your father in law's passing and how hard that was on your family. So sorry to hear about your mother in law.

That's a lot of loss in a short time. Like many, I've lost both my parents and it's a major life deal. My deepest sympathies to everyone.

Such sadness. Know that you are supposed to feel sad and in time you will smile and laugh at the thoughts of some things that have happened. Rejoice in her (and their) life and miss her. Hugs to you and your family.

Oh Bill, with tears in my eyes I have already begun praying. So so sad for you all. I do remember Amy's Dad passing away and how hard that time was for you both and the kids especially. I wish I could do more than pray for you. Big hugs through the Internet here.
