question regarding the next few weeks.

I am just off of the Half IM (June 9th) and the full IM (may 18th).  my plan was to just do swimming and relaxing and yoga but I couldn't resist going off to do a run/core workout with some buddies.  Of course it was 98 degrees out here in Austin and although I did okay with the Burpees and curls I was so slow on the run!  I didn't do half of theme.  earlier in the day I hopped in the fast lane with my swim group and got my butt kicked.  could not maintain cadence.  I think I'm just wore out.

should I go back to plan A and just swim and yoga?  I am working a lot of ER shifts also until August.

  • @patricia, great call on rest wise. Yes, you need to recharge a bit. Maybe set some baseline goals for yoga frequency, or just set LIMITS to the workouts you can do. swim + run + core sounds like Ironman training to me!!!

    It's not about TOTAL WORK DONE, it's about TOTAL WORK ABSORBED!!!!
