Training while on vacation
I am currently in week 13 of my training program, and I am headed on vacation with my family next week (we have a home in the NH White Mountains). I should have a lot of time for training (particularly running and riding), and would like to take advantage by increasing bike volume if that makes sense. If it does make sense, is it better to add an additional 3-4 hr bike, or extend the distances of currently scheduled rides?
Thanks for your help.

I personally would go volume: dial effort down to 70% / Zone 2 / Do No Harm and ride daily with a short 30' run before hand. 5 days of 2.5 hours on the bike, for example, really adds up...and you could be done by 10am every day.
If quality is your focus, then just double down on the Wed interval ride by doing it Tues & Thurs, giving you time to run on Wed/Fri, then longer rides on the weekend....again, I think the bigger impact is the volume play...let me know!
