I ran a few halves last year in my EN tri top and normal running shorts, but usually I try to look a little more like a runner and less triathlete like. Of course now that I run in Zoot shoes all the time that might be a little more challenging :-)
I have seen a number of guys run open marathons in full tri geek gear (i.e. tri top and shorts, fuel belt, compression socks). I don't think I would ever do that, but who knows, 5 years ago I never thought I would wear spandex or be able to swim.
Great. Sorry to be vain, but dont want to look like the doofus on the course. I think I will go with the shorts over the tights, and a regular top. Want to represent the team, but in a good way!
