satish's upcoming week thread
Hi coaches!
My first 70.3 at Tremblant went great (with a few mistakes)- RR to come! I just finished transition week one. Next Sunday I have a modified olympic race (1k swim, 54k bike, 10.5k run). I am not sure what to do this upcoming week. I am supposed to drop into the int HIM plan for the august 25th Rev 3 Maine Half, so that means I would be in week 13 starting on this coming monday.
Should I just do week 13 as written except but take Saturday off and race sunday? I assume that I don't need the FTP, vdot, and swim RR tests that were in week 12. I could do the FTP test on monday if necessary.
Finally what would you suggest I do for the days following Sunday's race? Monday following the race I plan to take off or easy spin on bike, but tuesday back to normal schedule?
