John P Macro - Season Adjustment

Finished A race (Eagleman) on June 9. I have literally not done ONE workout in the three weeks since. I am now considering another HIM on September 22, exactly 12 weeks away. How should I get back up to speed the quickest? GF Plan for a while and then transition into HIM plan? Or just load up the 12 week HIM plan starting tomorrow? Thanks

    Load up the HIM plan, as I think the GF plan may be a bit too much intensity for you right now. That said, you'll need to be careful with your running. That is, you can probably drop right into the scheduled bike and run sessions but you'll need to play it smart on the run intervals and the length of the long run.
