Garmin 500 or 510
I think I know my answer, but wanted some third party objectivity regarding it.
My joule is pissing me off with the different values between it and wko (http://members.endurancenation.us/Forums/tabid/57/aft/11941/Default.aspx), so I'm contemplating ditching in favor of a garmin.
I've read various posts on here about the 500 and the 510, as well as the dcrainmaker posts.
I really don't need anything fancy, but REALLY want an auto interval/lap timer that shows the current interval/lap values (ex IF, 3 sec power and mileage, etc), so I can focus on the "now" more than the whole ride and trying to make up power, speed or anything else.
My joule 2.0 currently displays 3 sec power, hr, speed/mph, cadence, IF (overall), mileage, kilo joules (don't care) and ride time (overall).
I've got two bikes, road and TT, both with garmin speed/cadence sensors and my quarq I share between them.
Is a garmin 500 all I need (with an extra mount for the second bike)? The 510 just seems like too much for my purposes, especially at $75-100 more.
Thanks all!!

All that being said. I like the 510 better. The fact that it syncs with my phone, will hold multiple bike and usage occasions saved as profiles and and automatically upload to Garmin connect make it the winner....
Does the 510 have the capability of IF (lap)?
