Pee'ing on the bike
Ok, I have to admit, not only was I hesitant to post this topic, but wasn't quite sure where to post. Anyway, here we go:
Any advice for peeing on the bike? Not sure if its stage fright or that I just haven't mastered the technique, but I just can't get he flow going. I have a HIM in 1.5 weeks that may be a hot one. No chance I will take a pit stop, so I'm wondering if this is all mental or if there is "technique" involved. Hey, if I can't ask you guys....who can I ask!

For me, I waited until I was on a slight downhill or on a flat, shifted my hips to the left a little bit, and just "let go". All I had to do was just relax to get the flow started. Why shift to the left? To control the flow down my left leg away from the drive train, down my leg and out my shoe. Then, when all was said and done, I took one of my water bottles and gave myself a rinse and then got back to the race.
Good luck.
Joe - that's what'll come down to, I'm sure. Although I see that the temps dropped by 20F over the last few days in N. Cal. It's hotter and more humid here in the NorthEast! The last week of training here is getting me ready.
Thanks for the info guys!
Just kidding.....
For the record, I can't bring myself to do this either, but after missing an "11-handle" by three seconds, it could be a time saver at IMHoe....
Dino..... Really?
Jordan Rapp tried this at IMAZ in 2011... It didn't work out so well... Read all about it here: http://blog.rappstar.com/2011/11/top-to-bottom.html
