racine 70.3
Hi Coaches...wondering what to do week of Racine 70.3? Taper that week only? Big race is Madison but would like to race well at this as they are my only 2
Finished big tri week: day1) bike 56, run 5 ( computrainer ), day2) rode 100m day 3) swim 1.2, ran 8 ( 9-10 min/pace ) didn't have much on this day 4) rode 95 from my house to Lake Geneva, WI then ran 4m --not much on this run either
day 5) only 35 min lake swim...my niece was a little overwhelmed

Sue - in the Wiki, the self-coached section, there is a post about how to insert a HIM into IM training. I think the link below will work but just in case it doesn't, go to the Wiki or use the search function. Basically, for a Sunday HIM it is the normal schedule thru Weds, EZ run with a few strides on Thursday, EZ swim with a few faster 100s on Friday, Sat off completely, race Sunday.
