Welcome Banquet ???

Hello All,

 With the Welcome Banquet, as a competitor, do i get a free ticket?  or do i have to pay the $30 for dinner? 

 

Also is it worth taking family end friends to the dinner?

    Your banquet ticket is actually your athlete wristband - you do not have to pay additional.

    Is it worth it? Think of a giant pre-race pep rally - videos of past events, greetings from local politicians, athletes recognizing volunteers, volunteers recognizing athletes, etc... The pre-race meeting is after the dinner. If it is your first IM, I recommend both - bring your family along and perhaps it will give them a better sense of what this is all about!
