SRAM Force vs Rival
Gearheads... I want more gears for IM LT. I have SRAM Red on my TT bike, with 11-28 rear cassette. My road bike has a 1070 11-32 cassette, with a Rival WiFli derailleur. I put both in a year ago, they have about equal wear. My TT front is 53/39, but I have 650c wheels, so that's like a compact.
My question: I'm certainly not going to spring for the Red WiFli @ $380 for 23gms. The difference between the Force and Rival seems to be: $50, 1 gm, and some carbon and magnesium bits vs all aluminum.
I should be just fine taking the Rival WiFli and the cassette off of my road bike for final six weeks of training and the race, right? No need to buy another derailleur, or will there be some mysterious performance improvement between the two that I'm missing?

But, if you are going with WiFli and 10-speed for the RD... I honestly can't find anything that really suggests Force is any different / better than Rival other than that 1g saved over a small bits of slightly more exotic materials.
- My P5 has Di2 11-speed and I don't think I want to monkey with that.
- My P3 is still an amazing ride is currently running Dura Ace 10-speed (cable - not Di2) with a compact Rotor crank.
- I could set up my P3 with a WiFli rig and use the P3 at IMHoe leaving the P5 mint
So, my question to the brain trust is, could I use this Wifli 11/32 rear derailleur and cassette on my P3 with a Dura Ace front derailleur and Rotor crank?
If it would work, I could even be convinced to go with Red and have a sweet climbing TT to compliment my super sweet P5.....
FWIW, you probably won't need the 11t at LT. You'll crack 40mph a couple times = spinout territory but you're not at 36-38mph for any lengths of time in which you'd want the 11t
Do they make a 12/32?
Nope, I think Apex might get you up to 34, but you can do 32 with Rival and I assume Force WiFli.
