Bike Closeouts

Howdy team!  I am very excited to start my tri-bike shopping soon!  I'm heading to TT Bike Fit this afternoon for my pre-purchase fitting then I start keeping my eyes open for deals.(Not in any rush though, this is for next year) 

Just wondering if anyone had tips on where to find closeouts, and when the best time is.  It is my understanding that the 2014s come out early fall so I'm assuming the '13 closeouts will hit around that same time?  (I'm also open to older but new models like '11-'12.)  And of course, I know color is the most important factor when looking for a tri bike.  image

    Ok, here's what we've got it narrowed down to.... Cervelo 51, trek speed concept small, Quintana Roo small or 49, felt b series 52 or DA 51. Now the fun begins! Looking to spend under $2500 but want a $3000+ bike so I'm looking at closeouts first. Nothing that fits the bill (and is pretty!) just yet. I'll do some poking at bike shops to see if I like any brand vs. the others.

    If you are not in a hurry, I would suggest that you stalk ebay for a couple/few months. You will get a really good idea of what each of those bikes goes for and how much savings $$ can be available.

    After checking out bikes all day, I found a decent deal in my size that I love and neutral black and white and pulled the trigger.....

    I should have known it wouldn't be a long process. I think I had exhausted a lot of the websites for my brands/sizes and this worked. Very excited!!

    LOL@ Jonathan. I was PLANNING on waiting but when I realized there wasn't much out there in my size/brands, I had to pull the ttrigger when I came across it. I'm dropping of my road bike to have my wheels swapped. (I have Power hub on road bike) then I go Fri. for fitting. Will post pics on Fri.!

    I fully expect to be able to run mo' betta off the bike now... Just like Rinny. That's why she runs so well, right? Cuz she has a Felt?
