Helen King's Macro thread
Hi Rich,
IMAT completed thanks to EN and your support. Not sure what to do about training over the coming months and if EN is still the right place for me to be. This is what I have lined up:
20-21 July - Dunwich Dynamo – Either 150ish mile overnight ride or a 230 ish mile round trip to the seaside. It’s a free, social, cool experience type ride. Only going if the weather is good. Never done the round trip before.
28th July - London Olympic Triathlon - Signed up to this before IMAT, C race, just out to enjoy the day
8 September - London Run to the Beat Half Marathon. It would be great to get a PB [current PB 2:24:18] but at the moment this race is simply in the diary to motivate me to keep running.
27 September - 6 October – Mountain bike holiday (http://www.keadventure.com/trip/drm...2-red.html) super excited about this. I want to really bike fit so that I can enjoy the rides without it being a massive physical struggle.
Brighton Half Marathon - 16 Feb – This is a long way off but I think I would like to make this my A race. Dream goal would be to run it in under 2 hours.
Please let me know your thoughts,
Helen

We have a Bike Focused training plan that you could use for that mtn bike tour and the fun cycling event.
We plan to have run-only training plans available for the members, in the training plan dropdown, that you could use for those half marathons. If I could give you a timeline for when those would be available it would be about Oct 1st.
