Training Peaks or alternative?
My TP account is getting close enough to expiration that they sent me an ad when I logged on today. Still have a couple of months on it.
It annoys me to keep renting space from them, but I didn't have a good experience running WKO on my mac via a Windows installation, and I do have data on there going back to 2008.
I like Garmin for visuals (the site actually WORKS), but they don't have metrics. I love Golden Cheetah, but it's bike only. I even have an old copy of RD Apollo somewhere, but it doesn't have mapping. It also uses xPower instead of NP, which should bother me, but everyone else uses NP...and it lacks some of the detailed stuff that TP/GC have on the bike.
So am I stuck renewing TP? Is Strava the cat's meow now? Does anyone know when the fabled WKO for Mac is due out?
Thanks

My main use of WKO is for the PMC analytics. That, plus serving as the "Compu" head unit for the CompuTrainer and TrainerRoad (winter only) are all the little netbook - the size of an iPad - ever do.
Which reminds me ... I need a data back up strategy!
BTW, I'm coming up on my TP renewal too. I have friends that have moved off to Strava but I don't know why. Personally I use TP online and then WKO on my Macbook under Fusion. Works for me...and everything is backed up. ;-)
