Emily B - Testing or Resting before Oly race

Hi coach -- I'll be in week 8 of GF program starting this coming Monday. It has me resting the first part of the week, and then testing Wed-Fri. I have an A race next Sunday. I was wandering if I should rest Sun, Mon, test Tuesday, Wed or just repeat week 7 and test after race when I switch back to HIM program? Thanks! Kill it in LP!

  • That's ok. It looks like LP had a ton of the team there which rocks. I decided to do week 7 again, with no hill repeats. Plan to rest Thurs, Fri, bc of travel, run 2 ish miles on Sat and kill it Sunday at the race. Probably will just wait to test after first week in to the HIM program?
  • Sounds like a plan; you can insert the "test" week there too if that helps, we just have to recover from the race first!!
