Multiple WKO+

I leave Wednesday for NorCal, roadtripping for real this time. I'll be out there at least 3 weeks (long story, more details to come when the time comes). I'm bringing my road bike/ergomo with me so I can ride (hopefully I'll have some time to meet up with some EN NorCal folks for some riding and socializing).

My v2.0 WKO+ is on my home computer. I used to have a v2.0 WKO+ trial edition on my laptop, but it's expired. There's only v3.0 WKO+ now.

Any other way to download ride files off of the ergomo so I don't lose all the ride data?!?

  • Probably not the answer you were looking for, but if you upgrade to 3.0 you get two licenses, so you can upgarde the home computer and install it on the laptop as well.

I don't know anyone that is using 3.0 with an ergmo. But it works with my garmin products and power tap.
  •  If you are staying with friends, or hotel, you can always download a trial version to your friend's PC or hotel lobby computer,,,

  • You can change the sampling rate to open up more memory, if you need it.

  • @Tomer, training peaks support said that once a file is downloaded into WKO+ 3.0 that it is not backward compatible with my WKO+ 2.0.
  • I'm not an ergomo guy, but with a powertap, you can download into PowerAgent, and then drag into WKO.  Is there an Ergomo equivalent?  Would something like Sport Tracks work for that purpose?

  • why not just upgrade to 3.0? Seems to be a pretty reasonable one time cost and it gets you what you want.
  • Ergomo is not compatible with Power Agent download with WKO 3.0.  I have to download into WKO 2.0 and then transfer over to 3.0.  It would make it so much easier if it directly downloaded.

  • I guess it is not worth it for the WKO peeps to bother with making the new version compatible with the 6 ergomo's which actually kinda still work :-)

Yep. Mine works, well, though I'm sending it in tomorrow to have a new battery installed

  • Yes, found out the hard way that Ergomo and Garmin 305 devices are not yet supported in 3.0.  No download = unhappy girl.  Sent constructive criticism to TP as it took some work to find this out.  Trying to roll back to 2.0 as we speak.
