Advice on plan

Getting ready to do olympic tri in September and marathon end of October..... Just finished the advanced ironman plan...yet had to drop out after first lap of bike at IMLP... really bummed about Lake PLacid, ... going to hold my head up high and move forward...I am not injured (basically body a little sore from a 4 hour workout on Sunday...) what plan should I follow now (after a couple down days), with the Olympic coming and marathon in fall

    Sorry to hear about your day! What happened at LP??

  • Some pretty intense GI issues.... I have been following the IM program,,, feeling great, :59 on swim, 19 mph first loop of bike... then I couldn't hold anything down.... went back to room and slept for hours!!! I've done 3 IM and 1 marathon in last 18 months...I think my body was saying enoUGH! time for a break from IM and focus more on shorter tri distances and maybe a marathon or two... I'll be back in 2015
  • Recommend you load up the Get Faster plan to end on your Olympic in September.
