Short Course, Beginner, Week 15/20, Days with Double Workouts
Tomorrow's workout calls for a 45 min run (4X800) as main set, remainder as I feel, and a 2300 swim. Do the days that call for 2 workouts need to be a "brick?"
For example, today's workout was a 60 min ride, 30 min run. I was not able to do the workouts in succession, but rather rode first and then did the run after I dropped my daughters at camp and before I went to work.
Great workouts thus far. I paced my daughter to a 27:30 5K at a race on Sunday. She won her age group (11-14) and had I been running my own race, I would have been on the podium for my age group (40-44). It was a Z2 run for me.
