Hi Rich,
I just qualified at Steelhead for 70.3 Worlds on 9/8.
I dropped into IM INT. Week 14 yesterday after a recovery/mental reset week of unstructured training last week.
My thinking is stick with the IM plan with maybe a few tweaks for Worlds. I am planning on doing my runs in longsleeves to get as much heat as I can here in MI. I also am riding the hilliest park in the area (that I've avoided till last week.) as well to help with the elevation at worlds. I did the course for ITU Worlds in 2011 in cold weather. Whole different kettle of fish this time around.
Goal at Worlds is this...have a great experience, finish vertical and do no harm, and DON"T DIG MY SELF INTO A HOLE for my IM training. I will be focusing on recovering HARD post race as well. IMAZ is still my A race!!!
I'll be getting my compact crank on my bike this week. So, I don't "think" I need to do any shifting of my plan...just running it by you to get your thoughts, please and thank you!

Nope, you're good. Please check out the Self-Coaching Guide in the Self-Coaching section of the wiki for guidance on how to modify your IM plan to fit the HIM.
