Patti's bike question
I am slammed with work... I want to do my bike workouts together this weekend. that means the 120 and 180 minute.
I've got night shift tonight, tomorrow night and Saturday. I'm concerned about doing long bike after working all night.... and was going to do my swim tomorrow instead. is this crazy? Sunday I can sleep and then ride for 5 hours easily....as no night shift that night.
BTW, did you break your collarbone at LPIM? or at a training ride....haven't had time to read the story.

I broke my collarbone at home, not racing, just riding. Surgery to put in plate and tie up the coracoid process 2 weeks ago, in recovery right now....freaking hard!!!
my goodness! that is quite an injury! I can't imagine the expletives that would have erupted from me with that injury ... So glad they did surgery to fix you up... sometimes with collarbone injuries they don't fix it but distal third usually gets fixed.
of interest, cats don't have all that bony structure but rather have muscular slings to support their shoulder girdle... but then again, they don't get aero on a tri-bike either...
