week 11 big workout

Coach have a question about the big day of training on Saturday.

I am looking at this week and trying to get my workouts planned in with the family schedule.  I am to do a big day of training on Saturday, was looking at the swim and it says 2300 or 1hr.  I know you put a 1hr time on all the swims due to peoples own swim times to hard to judge how long they will take to do the workout.  So on the big days of swim, bike, run are you to do the number or time on the schedule.

2nd do you take any breaks in between the workouts.  The last one I did a couple of weeks ago I did none stop and got in 1.9 mile swim, 67 mile bike, and only a 5 mile run.  I know I need to get the run up.

  • @richard, I prefer 1 hour of swimming if you can...or close to it. I would keep the bike to 50-60 miles (no real difference) and then run like 7....good luck!!! Be sure to try and improve your nutrition / pacing vs last time!!!
