Scott's Macro

Just finished IMMT last weekend (8/18). Obviously left something out on the course, slow swim (as usual), .65 IF bike for 6:08 and walked most of marathon due to HUGE popped blister on foot.

I want to roll my fitness into:

1) Olympic tri on 10/6

2) half marathon on 12/8

Suggestions for remainder-of-season planning for these goals?

  • 1. Use the Get Faster plan for your Oly.
    2. Use the Run Focus plan for your half marathon, though we do have plans to add half marathon plans to the site, but can't give you a timeline on when that would happen.
  • Now that my 2014 calendar is forming (lots of cycling as usual!), what training plans would you suggest?

    Sat 2/15 - Mon 2/18: Presidents Day weekend Base Camp with local tri team, Fredericksburg TX. 3 days of riding.
    Thu 4/3 - Sun 4/6: EN National Rally, Tucson AZ.
    Fri 4/18 - Sun 4/20: Easter Hill Country tour. 3 days of riding.
    Sat 5/3: Shiner GASP 100 miler/century. Austin, TX.
    Tue 5/6 - Sat 5/17: Cycling in Majorca Spain.
    Mon 5/26: CapTex Olympic, Austin TX.
    Fri 6/6 - Sun 6/8: Tulsa Tough. 3 days of riding.
    Sun 6/22: Disco Sprint Tri, local.
    Sun 7/13: Vineman 70.3. Early season "A" Race.

    Sun 10/26: Austin 70.3. Late season "A" Race, but I'll hit you up later for 2nd half of the season mods.
