garmin 500 edge picking up powertap pro+ problem.

My wife has this combo.   lisa Watson.   

when in transition area with other bikes, or even just near my bike with quarq, problems getting the garmin to acquire her powertap and calibrate.        no problems doing the procedure without other bikes close by.             not a powertap battery problem as this is always a problem even with new batteries. 

is there a way to setup the garmin to only recognize her powertap only?

solutions?

always has been a problem.     this last race in Canada, we thought we had it set up ok.   but then during the race, she had to stop and fiddle.     it was picking up the bikes around her but not her.

    I have this combination and have never had an issue at a race, I have had trobule calibrating. Try telling the garmin that you don't hav a HR monitor. Calibrate the night before instead of in transition. Maybe it would be an idea to replace the batteries in the PT
