A2 speedfil placement

Originally had A2 between aero bars but recently purchased a stem mount. Only problem is my stem angles slightly upwards. Is this an aerodynamic mess? Should I go back to old set up

• I did that with a King Cage mount and thought the same thing. The benefit is that the angle let's the straw get every last drop. FYI - I went back between the bars..... It just looked cleaner.
• Without wind tunnel data, I hesitate to do anything but speculate, but ... as long as the top of your helmet is above the bottle, what difference does the angle make? You're (chest and head) a much bigger wind break than the bottle ever could be.
• And as long as the tip of the straw inside the bottle is at the lowest point, the aerodynamics shouldn't be much different.
• Guess the picture did not show up but I think you guys get the idea
• I put the king cage with the long par in the back. Then I put a small spacer under the front so that it clears the front of the stem but is as level as possible.
• Not to hi-jack John's thread, but figured this was a good place to ask. I'm planning on moving to a Speedfil A2 from a vertical profile design setup I currently run. I see that they don't come with a cage or mounting system. What are you guys all using in terms of cages and mounting for the A2? Incidentally, aero bars are pretty close together (Cervelo p2).
• I have the new speedfil cage. A4 I think. Love it!!! Check it out
• the new cage is the Z4 and it comes for just a bottle or a kit for the A2 sysytem
• I use the speedfil stem mount http://store.invisciddesign.com/a2stemmountkit.html with a gorilla bottle cage. I love the speedfil stem mount. Nice thing about it is it allows the bottle to move forward/back so that the straw is where you want it. I used to use a torpedo mount, but it was too far forward or something and it blocked my view of my computer. I ended up switching to the speedfil stem mount and liked it. Somehow I tweaked the mount just a little so that my drink flows down to the straw. This will have to do until I can afford a Shiv;-).
