Rich- Thanks for loading up my Season Road Map.  I have a couple of general questions about how the plan stacks up.  First, I have read all of the guidance on swimming during the OS and totally get where you are coming from.  That being said, I am a crappy swimmer (1:35 IM swim at IMTX) and used that guidance as an excuse to not work on what I hate/suck at for the entire OS last year.  I have been considering doing a masters swimming group 2-3x per week until my HIM plan starts and wanted your thoughts on that.  My goal wouldn't be to churn out volume but to get some consistent feedback on my stroke.  If this is a good idea, would that change the 2-week Swim Camp after the OS or should I stick to that simply to let the legs recover and get extra swim punishment prior to the HIM plan?

Secondly, I just loaded up the Bike plan and planned on adding some time to the runs (just Z2) to supplement the runs specified.  I want to properly recover from the bike workouts but also feel a little restless with just 25 minutes on a run (even if I also add a swim that day ).   Thanks again!  Ben

I understand that goal. However, I think you be better served by hiring that masters coach for some quality 1:1 sessions and the doing drills on your own. I think you may be overestimating how much technique help you'll be getting from a masters swim session. In my experience, when i was coaching masters, once I had more than about 12-14 people in the pool I was leading a swim workout vs giving technique guidance.

Ben 30-40' run sessions are fine. Just find that balance between continuing to run and not compromising your bike workouts
