I paid my deposit way back when and want to send in a check (or pay online) the remainder but I no longer see the address of where to send and the online payment only links for the deposit. Help!

    Hey Rachel,

Sorry, we missed your post. We'll be in touch with payment instructions closer to the camp. Thanks!

  • Thanks Rich. The camp page says the final balance is due Jan 31. I take it that's not true? Just want to make sure I'm in!
  • Verrrrrry bummed I will not be able to join this year. image  Being away from my home  which is Tucson makes me even sadder.  Anyone mind I lurk so as to get some of the positive vibes from everyone enjoying the great high desert springtime?
  • Stagecoach from PHX was quite inexpensive...and about 2x.time than flying .last time I used it......used to be they had a pickup/drop off near UofA campus that is <5 min from downtown. ....
  • Rachel,

No worries on the 31st. We're just trying to shake the lurkers out of the trees see who's committing to the camp.

  • and....we are IN. B and S Ross are coming to Tucson. Not sure we will be able to keep up with this motley crew, but will do our best. Gunna be fun.
  • That makes me do my happy dance Brenda! Good thing I'm working from home today, otherwise that draws some stares! Can't wait til April!
  • Is anyone staying on in AZ after the Rally? I'm doing a Epic Camp from the 6th to the 18th and would be happy to meet up with any training partners.
  • @Dave. Might try contacting trisports FB people...lots of local Triathletes who can show you around all the great rides/runs in Tucson (or just drop in to store)
  • Umm... Oh yeah ... I'll be here.... And I will be as epic as you wanna be since I'll be leaving on the 14th or 15th to spend 5 days in a car! Bring it Tallo!
  • I'm going to be in Tucson from March 28 until April 4 with some of my local club members.  Hopefully will be able to meet up with some of the national rallyers!

    You're on!    Working plan is 67.5 hours of S / B / R over 12 days.  It'll be brought!

  • FOLKS!!! It is with much sadness that we inform those of you who hadn't actually signed up for the Rally that it's not going to happen. Simply not enough interest this year in the actual camp itself, although it seems quite a bit of interest in training in Tucson around the same time!!! image

Rich and I are going to head back to the drawing board to see what we can do to improve the 2014 and recapture some of the 2013 energy when we had 30 athletes on hand just having a great time!

Stay tuned for more updates and thanks for your understanding!
  • Oh man... I was looking forward to the team invading Tucson my new winter home ..... Looks like the EN Mt. Lemmon climb record is mine! Unless Dave Tallo thinks he can take it???
  • That's too bad, I was looking forward to hopefully meeting the coaches and some team mates.  I would have signed up for the rally but I had to be back on the weekend of April 5-6. The flights required to get me home meant I would have had to leave on Friday morning, and I could not justify the travel time/expense for only 1-2 days of training.

  • @ Dave, Tim (and anyone else who wants to make a bandit unofficial EN Rally still happen early April)... My wife and I will still be heading down to PHX/TUC about April 6-10. I'll write next month about details, but dates will probably include my 65th birthday, 4-9.

Sorry to hear, Patrick. I would have loved to join the official rally, but wouldn't be able to get to PHX until the last day of camp. Next time!
  • Patrick,

The reason I didn't sign up this year is for two main reasons.  We ( my wife and I) liked the resort but I understand the inconvenience of getting to good riding which was a hassle.  The main reason however was that If I was going to take he time off work and schlepp across the country with my bike, I would expect to do some epic biking just about everyday.  I'm sorry it didn't work out but will be eager to consider what ever you come up with for next year.

  • I didn't sign up because I am doing IMMT with the team and this is a more expensive race then ones in the states.

Al, Patrick has thrown down the gauntlet with "40 miles on his 40th birthday" gesture.  Can we count on you to run 65 that day?

  • EVERYONE, thanks for the feedback!! This wasn't an indictment, more of a reality. Ironically, we set up the first one as epic cycling and the feedback we got was that everyone wanted to run and swim more. image And here we are with no camp...I hear you...I personally don't think it makes sense to travel for 3-4 days to "just train" when you could have done that at home (anyone can do a long ride on the trainer).

Maybe Al or Mr C will post pics of their training and make everyone insanely jealous!!! image
  • @ Dave ... I'm sure your tongue is firmly in your Canadian cheek. But I was thinking about this today while riding up a chairlift. 65 mile bike followed by a 6.5 mi run sounds about right to me. I'll alert Tim to find a suitable route.
  • @AL.... lets add a SWIM 65 x 50yds in 65min
