tapering and switching weeks

Hey coach I need some help with tapering and switching weeks on the training plan?

I have the Redman HIM on the 20th of this month so I am switching week 16 to week 15 so I don't miss the big ride.  But need help on what a little taper for the HIM during the week of training.

  • Richard we have some guidance in the Self Coaching section of the Wiki...but that said, the general recommendation is regular week through Wednesdays ride....push the Wed run to Thursday (dropping the long run). Then Swim only friday per plan. Sat is off...Sunday is race...Monday is off to recover...tuesday is swim only...then Wed back at it understanding the numbers might be a bit low!!
