Keith weekend workout/race

I am feel pretty comfortable with how I am approaching this but thought I would confirm with you.  My HIM plan calls for a "race pace 56 miles on the bike followed by a 6 miles or 60 minute run on Saturday and Rest on Sunday.  Somehow I registered for an aquabike on Sunday/  1.4 swim and 56 bike.  My plan is to bike (25 -40) on Saturday and run for about an hour after (maybe).  Then "compete" on Sunday followed by a rest day on Monday.

Thoughts?

  • Keith, I suggest that you drop Saturday's workout. Then do the aquabike and plan on running a few miles afterwards (you don't need to do six...maybe 3). The point here is to practice nutrition and pacing...
