Just finished intermediate OS, and had good gains, on the bike particularly (start OS, 5 mins 207 watts, 20 mins 193, week 8, 5 mins 227 watts, 20 mins 217 watts).
Just tested at end of OS with 5 mins 238 watts, and 20 mins 220 watts. So the last 6 weeks pushed up my 5 min power by 11 watts but my 20 min power only rose 3 watts. I tested well despite the results.
My question is this: should I do Get Faster until Christmas, or do something else?
In the new year, my long course training starts (him for 9 weeks, followed by my IM build for my A race on May 4 2014).

The Get Faster plan should be your go-to solution after the OS and pretty much any time you're not training specifically for a race.
