training zones

It is really annoying to read that "so and so" has updated "their" training zones.  I appreciate that this has to be gender neutral but I think there are better choices leaving gender out altogether... "so and so" has new, updated training zones.  Have you updated yours?  Just a suggestion

  • Personally, I would prefer to not see these "update" notifications on the dashboard.  They clutter it up and things roll off faster.  You can't actually look at what the team member has changed, so why have it show up?

I'd like to see these notifications go away completely.  During OS, folks will post their test results if they are so moved....sometimes to get a fist-bump for a positive change, and other times for some perspective or motivation (or just to rant about lack of improvement that is frustrating but a reality sometimes).  This is fine and all good.  What I'm seeing now is just clutter.

    Just my 2 cents....

  • Gents,

Plz understand that the Dashboard is getting a TON of traffic, as we're also using it to welcome new members to the Team. These members are then updating their own training zones = more dashboard traffic.

We've found that these "updated their training zones" notifications are an effective way to let people know that, hey, I can update my training zones and get them imported into my training plan! Cool!

IOW, it's a simple way to let all the members easily know about a feature they might otherwise miss. Thanks for understanding.

  • I understand Rich.

But it is overwhelming the Dashboard.       Makes the Dashboard un-useful and un-fun.     Please consider stopping.

  • Today is Day 1 of the OS, several hundred people starting the same plan on the same day, with testing today. We're sure it will die down.

FYI, this feature was also in the old 4.0 website.
