I crashed-literally
Coaches,
Crashed on a training ride yesterday. Road rash, bruises, and a broken hand. My bike seems to be ok, I think. Haven't completely surveyed it yet. It's still in the trunk of my moms car. 19 days to IM Florida. I'm not able to do any training for a couple days cause I'm really sore. Splint on my left hand and arm, seeing orthopedic doc Wednesday. Gonna beg for cast that I can swim in. My training has gone really well. I've had a good race rehearsal minus the crash yesterday. Swim is solid. Run is solid. Advice on the next couple weeks. Whats the best thing for me to do to keep my fitness? I will be able to bike and run after a few days to a week. I'm nervous. Timing of this crash sucks! Timing of any crash sucks.

I STRONGLY suggest you use your current free time to get that bike to a shop for a once over of the frame and wheels (not sure what you hit or how you did it)....last thing you want to do is be cleared and discover you need a bike infirmary!)
PLEASE know my best races, seriously, have come after unplanned time off. You are already out resting the competition....our goal now is to get you healthy enough to compete.
