Strength Training for Endurance Athletes Seminar

I was thinking of signing up for this seminar. Should I spend the money? Thoughts?

Could be hit or miss depending on how they approach it. From the brief description it sounds like it is focused on injury prevention rather than the idea that you need to do a bunch of squats and leg presses to be fast on the bike.

From that angle, I'm cool with it. For lack of a better word, I got my ass kicked by injury this season due to weak core and specifically very weak glutes (especially glute med). Whether or not you need to pay for a seminar or just do some research online (see Juan's recent thread for some examples: http://members.endurancenation.us/Forums/tabid/57/aft/13393/Default.aspx) is up to you. As with everything, technique is very important so some in-person stuff sounds like it could be a benefit to me as long as the people offering the seminar are qualified.
