Wk 15 trng for IM Coz - came down with the flu need advice

Just came back from Colorado, got my swim work out in on Tues am.  I started feeling funny after the swim so skipped the run.  By the end of the day I had fever chills and bodily functions going haywire.  Was sick in bed all day yesterday, able to keep food down today. 

Supposed to do a RR Swim and Bike Fri and Sat, need your suggestion.  Should I flip it to next week?  Should I try doing the swim Sat and Ride/Run Sunday if I am feeling up to it.  My timing suxs!

  • Timing is TYPICAL for travel this close to race with your fatigue. Better to be sick now than on race week!!! The only real goal we have for you this week is to get the RR done (forget the swim) so just keep resting. If you need to push bike to Sunday, we can do that too...and if you need to shorten and drop the run, that's okay. Text me tomorrow to tell me what you are thinking...
