Nov OS Heads / Tails Update....
Hey kids, I have hit the week one test results for those of you who have posted to the Heads / Tails Form. You can view the results in column "H" of this spreadsheet here: http://bit.ly/1aE0XjG
I base the estimations of vDOT targets from a few factors: gender, age, body comp. The older you get the less of an adaptation you'll have. Women tend (tend!) to gain fewer vDOTs vs the men. And if your body comp is higher than 2.5 (see column F), then simply by losing available weight you should see some new speed: every pound is worth 3 seconds per mile!
If you want me to consider other factors in creating your goal, please hit me in the Micro Forum: http://members.endurancenation.us/Forums/tabid/57/aff/468/Default.aspx
If you want to learn more about the Heads / Tails thread and how you can enter your info to play along, you can do that in the Master OutSeason Wiki here (under the Heads Tails Section): http://members.endurancenation.us/Resources/Wiki/tabid/91/Default.aspx?topic=OutSeason+Master+Page

What does the body comp number mean? I assume it is not body fat %.
Thanks
Looks like a simple ratio of Lbs/inch
