Had myself a good race to end the season at Beach 2 Battleship 1/2 a couple weeks ago.  I ended up with a PR and would have broken 4:20 if the weather was a bit warmer early in the morning.  You'll have to read the blog post to find out why this picture is relevant.

Negative split on the run, 1.01 VI bike ... Execution doesn't get any better! A good race to build on.

Thanks - I can't complain about anything in particular except the stupid cold morning. Everything came together and I actually managed to put up a solid run for about the first time this season. Definitely looking forward to building on this next season.

A lot of people are saying the run course was short. My garmin didn't link up satellites immediately so I didn't get a complete distance. Regardless, I held pace and dropped a slight negative split so it's all good.
