Mike's IMTX Plan

Hi Rich, 18-year vet with a chronic 10:30-45 IM "problem" (consistent 1:00, 5:40, 3:50).  I can eke a few seconds out of my swim and run, but it's the bike where I see big opportunity.  Work obligations and climate have always limited bike training to a few hours/wk, mostly on a trainer, with a few long rides crammed at the end.  Now in Florida with a 9-6, no-travel job, the bike excuses have disappeared.  For IMTX, I plan on a Big Bike Week 12 weeks out (unless that's too close to race day?) and hopefully the EN camp 8 weeks out.  Otherwise, with 27 weeks at my disposal, I have time for 6-8 weeks of Bike Focus or Get Faster, then 20 weeks of IM.  Or does it make more sense to do 6 weeks of Bike Focus, 8 of Get Faster, then final 12 of the IM schedule? Or some other approach that can help me address my problem?  Thanks so much.  Mike
