I haven't done the Quassy Half but I've done the Oly so I know what the course is all about... Hills! I've done Timberman as well. (FYI I'm doing both Quassy Half and TImberman in 2014)
Quassy makes Timberman look flat. The Timberman run has more "roller" type hills while Quassy has some steeper ones. Timberman run is 2 loops which I don't love. (Mentally painful to come so close to finish and then, nope, go again!)
If you are looking for less hills than Quassy, go Timberman. I really enjoyed it, esp. since I had it built up in my mind to be as hilly as Quassy. (I'm not great on hills so dom't ask why I keep doing Quassy! It was my first half so I was just concerned with beating the cutoffs, which I did (barely!)
Thanks Kim! I found Quassy to be especially challenging - getting off the bike at 90 degrees did not help any! Good for you going for both Quassy and Timberman. I think Timberman will be a go! Hope to see you there!
