2014 Season Planning
Using the Season Planning survey doesn't help me because I have questions and not much to fill in as far as races are concerned. I just did my first IM in Canada and i was relatively slow. 15 hrs...(Yeh, had some issues...) I used the Int. plan and I really don't want to use the beginner, but also don't know the diff. Feel the intermediate would push me more. However my half iron time was intermediate.
I haven't really been doing any "structured" training since the IM. Just doing what I feel like when I feel like it. (Been kinda nice but I mentally feel weak). I have been talked into doing IM Canada again (as opposed to somewhere else), but haven't chosen any other races. What I would like is for you to plan a season for me beginning in December? Like a preseason--outseason--get faster (bike specific? or is your plan involve all?) --transition--IM intermed. ending on July 27,2014. Whatever I can squeeze in. And perhaps tell me where to throw in a race and at what length.
Hope this isn't too much to ask.

I replied in the email but never heard from you and thinking that was the wrong place. I am doing the "run durability" plan as you set for me, but curious as to why you chose this over the bike or run focus? I read and listened to Patrick speak about it. And in the wiki I seem to fall out of the prerequisites. My run may need enhanced but i felt my bike could use improvement, no? Yes, the last 20+miles UPHILL during IM Canada may have put a damper on my run. But I will follow what you feel i should. I like the looks of it.
Also, you have it ending on 1/19, unlike the other plan to end on 1/5. So will i cut out part of the Outseason Plan? Like starting on week 3 of the OS?

Sorry, I'm not sure where you sent the email but I didn't receive it. Posts to THIS forum thread, with your name on it, are much better :-)
My concern is doing the BF plan (high intensity cycling) and then go right into the OS plan, and doing all of _that_ through the holidays.
Just load up the training plans per my instructions and it will all work out . Basically, I need you to do the first 2 weeks of the RD#2 training plan. So you upload that to end on Jan 19th and then, on Jan06, load up the OS plan and it will replace/overwrite that RD#2 plans.
