Week 10 Marathon Plan

I just jumped in on the beginner marathon plan and this is the workout for next Saturday's workout:

MS: 4 miles @ z1 / LRP, last 4 miles at z3 / HMP.

Am I to assume that this will be a total of 8 miles?  The verbage of "last" 4 miles has thrown me of.  Thanks
