Help! I need to modify my OS Week 4…

Hey Coach P -

I've come down with a terrible cold that is in my head and a little bit in the chest.. it's uncomfortable to work too hard, as I get breathing hard and start hacking away…ick.   I was fighting something last week and thought I was over it, but I think the lack of rest has caught up with me.  I took today off (was supposed to to my FTP intervals on the bike), and am wondering how to handle the rest of the week. 

My situation is a perfect example of how not getting enough sleep and downtime when you need it for recovery from workouts is not a good thing! I'd appreciate your advice.

  • @Kortney we have "what to do when sick" in the wiki...you should check that out re what to take, etc. I suggest you take off through friday, just some light walking, as you follow that protocol and then we have you try to get back on schedule come Saturday...I want more aggressive time off for sleep to take hold and given you are "still" fighting this thing!!!
