Warm up times for run and buike

Coaches

I have a quick question about the workouts. Do I add the "official bike/run warmup" time to the specific session? For example  today's 60' run would be a 15' warmup+the 60' session time duration as noted OR does the noted 60' session time include the 15' warmup already?  Sorry if I missed this in the literature, just trying want to make sure the return on investment approach is being followed. Thanks for the reply.

    Short answer is:

    • Do the standard warmup. We park it up there to save space in the rest of your training plan, no need to repeat it in other words.
    • Do the mainset
    • Follow the rest of the workout for the time you have available.

We have ZERO volume goals for these individual session. If you only have 40', do the best you can to keep the MS and shorten everything else.
