Zappos - how great is this?!?

I have to share this...

Saturday at 4 pm I ordered 2 pairs of shoes from zappos.com.  They are Asics 2150's, EE - one road, one trail.  The point is, this place stocks wide shoes, not just the regular ones.  And they were both on sale - $86 instead of the near universal $100.  You're thinking, "yeah, but they get you with shipping."  Nope, shipping is free.

And they arrrived - TODAY.  For some reason they upgraded me to a VIP (I'm pretty sure if you call them, they'll upgrade anyone for free), and with VIP I get free one day shipping.

So I ordered shoes late Saturday afternoon and they're here when I get home from work on Monday, for $13 a pair cheaper than I can get anywhere else.

Fuggitaboutit.

Zappos is great! I have always been upgraded whenever i have ordered. It's great. Plus the free return shipping is awesome too. They are just a great company.

Their CEO was in Austin promoting his new book "Delivering Happiness" -- I couldn't get close enough to see him, but all the stories about how they do business are incredibly inspiring. Thanks for sharing!

Zappos rocks! I need wide shoes too and am fussy about exactly which model of Saucony I wear. They have never disappointed.
