Half Marathon Question

I typically stick to the 10% rule when increasing mileage. I had a skip last week's long run due to foot pain. My longest run prior to race day would be 11. Thoughts on whether to race or not considering on my longest run prior to race is only 11?

Thanks,
Eric

  • @eric, 11 is fine, it's the cumulative run %, not just one single run. This assumes you have been running other runs than your long run!!! image As for the race, just make sure you are pacing it well, guidance is in the wiki under running, search the page for Half Marathon!
  • Much appreciated! Have a great weekend. It's cold here by Dallas standards. Freezing? Everyone better stay inside
