Excited for John Sakelaris - Out of the water in 44th in AG - GREAT start!!
Paul and Patricia (patty?) also well placed in AG out of the water.
Odd to see Sukhi's swim show up as T1...
Sukhi, John and Chris thur the first bike split! GO EN!!
@Robin - same for Carl - no swim time - just showed total in T1...
Found this on Facebook from his wife - RE: Paul Hough
Paul just passed us on the bike....looked really good! No times yet....looks like about 1:40 on this first loop of the course.....
Then found this - YIKES...
Is there a metal stronger than Iron? I don't know.....if there is, then Paul Hough is made of it because after battling a 103/104 fever well into last night....he was up at 4am ready to do battle. Swim was an amazing 53 min and a few seconds.....he is out on the bike. His goal is to finish in a respectable time......but mainly to finish.
Wow!! Paul is racing after battling a high fever last night. That is hard core.
Keep an eye on Claudia. She is my training partner and I've seen how strong she has become on the bike. And the run is her strength as she BQed earlier this year. I predict she'll move up steadily in AG placement all the way to the end.

Still nothing for Paul and John Sakelaris never got a 2nd split...
Patricia Rosen ~ 2min in the lead thru #2 bike split.
Just how many IMs did he do this year?
Man that is a tough AG. He finished 22 in AG and 101 QA with 9:34*.
I think he did Canada in August.
Claudia is coming on. Go Chica go. And Patricia Rosen is running steady.
Sukhi.... very steady marathon and love that T2 congrats!!!!
Carl...wtg sub 11 !!!!
WTG Carl - sub 11 and strong finish to the run!!!
Great job Carl & Suhki.
Claudia is having a fantastic run thru 35 k. Speeding up each split. And her plan was to hold back until the final 10k. Hope she something left in the tank.
Pat Rosen in 1st with 1 more split to go.... could be close.... The swim and bike were a wash....2nd place looks like a tiny bit faster run splits but Pat put about 6 minutes of time on her thru the transistions!
Paul Hough tough as nails knocking down another one after having a fever last night!
2 more to go... come on Micheal and Paula
Way to go everybody! Some great results and amazing splits....and a SMOKIN' T1 !!
Looking forward to reading the race reports.
